Retirement comes with paperwork that nobody explains: letters full of tables, plan documents that run to hundreds of pages, and deadlines that only come round once a year. Retire Wise Guide exists to make that paperwork readable.
What we publish
Practical guides written to be read with your own documents in hand. We explain what a document is, where the important part is, what the terms mean and which questions are worth answering. Our current focus is the Medicare annual review that runs from October 15 to December 7 each year.
What we don't do
- We are not an insurance agency or broker, and we don't sell insurance.
- We don't recommend specific plans or companies, and our guides don't name them.
- We're not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.
- We don't give personal medical, legal or financial advice.
How we're funded
This site may receive compensation from advertisers. Advertising never decides what our guides say. Details are in our advertising disclosure.
